
In general most medical schools require the following college courses prior to beginning medical school:
- 1 year of Biology with labs
- 1 year of General Chemistry with labs
- 1 year of Organic Chemistry with labs
- 1 year of Physics (algebra-based) with labs
- 1 year of English
- 1 year of Math (some medical schools specifically require 1 year of calculus)
- 1 Statistics course
- 1 Biochemistry course
